About Shannon Kuhn
My journey started long before Lingualink Online became a reality. With a background in tourism, customer relations, and international education, I’ve worked across the globe—from bustling cruise ships to coordinating large-scale travel experiences and managing operations for international clients. My work has taken me to over 70 countries, giving me firsthand insight into the incredible richness and diversity of cultures, languages, and communication styles.
This exposure deeply shaped my view of language—not just as a skill to be learnt but as a tool that opens doors, builds careers, and brings people closer together. I wanted to create a space where professionals and learners from all walks of life could access high-quality, personalised language education—where learning fits your goals, your industry, and your unique voice.

How do I sign up for classes?
Click the Signup button and follow the prompts to create your account. Once registered, you’ll need to purchase a package on our website to receive class credits. With credits in your account, you can then book your preferred classes through the student portal. All course offerings and package details can be viewed on our website.
What platform is used for lessons?
We conduct our lessons via a reliable and easy-to-use Learning Management System (LMS) that ensures a smooth, interactive learning experience. To join a lesson, you’ll need a stable internet connection, a device, and a working camera for effective participation.
Can I choose my own teacher?
Yes! You can choose your preferred teacher based on availability, expertise, and teaching style. If you prefer to have the same teacher for all your lessons, we can allocate them to your account for a more consistent learning experience.
Classes & Scheduling
How do I book or manage my lessons?
Once you’re logged into your student account, you can purchase class credits and use them to book lessons from our available schedule. You can also manage, reschedule, or cancel your classes through the same portal.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a class, we encourage you to contact your teacher or our support team as soon as possible. Lessons can only be rescheduled if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. If you miss a class without prior notice, the session will be marked as completed, and no refund or rescheduling will be available. However, if you were unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, please reach out to us-we’ll do our best to find a solution.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes, you can reschedule your lesson up to 24 hours in advance through your student portal. After that, rescheduling may not be possible, depending on the teacher’s availability. Please note our rescheduling and cancellation policy, as this may apply.
What is Lingualink Online’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule a class up to 24 hours before the lesson without any charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class will result in the full class amount being charged.
Payments & Subscriptions
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, Instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and other secure mobile payment options to make your checkout experience smooth and convenient.
Does Lingualink Online offer subscription plans?
At the moment, we do not offer subscription plans. You can purchase lessons on a pay-per-class basis or choose to buy a package for more
flexibility and savings.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my lesson purchase?
Refunds are not permitted for cancellations. However, if you cancel your lesson at least 24 hours in advance, credits for the class will be returned to your account. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class will not be eligible for credit or refund.
Do class credits expire?
Class credits do not expire, so you can use them at your convenience. However, they must be used within one year of purchase, or they will be forfeited.
Technical Support & Account Issues
I’m having trouble with my account—what should I do?
If you’re having trouble with your account, please contact our support team via email at support@lingualinkonline.com or reach out to us on our contact page. We’ll help you resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
What if I experience technical difficulties during a lesson?
If you encounter any technical difficulties during your lesson, notify your teacher immediately. They will assist you, and if necessary, our support team will step in to help resolve the issue.
